Educational Technology is a new core literacy in the 21st Century. Unfortunately, Ed Tech is too commonly an after-thought or a show piece that often goes under-utilized or lacks an educational purpose. Technology is the framework through which our students will be experiencing education. As educators and educational leaders, we must be fluent in the language and the methods of educational technology and prepare our students for the world of tomorrow. Though STEAM programs are a great introduction for students, as educational leaders we must create robust technological environments that challenge our students and allows them to be the innovators of tomorrow.
