Educational Substance
Many leaders get mired in the day to day managing of a school district. It is important to remember that the most important goal of education is to educate students. While management skills are vital, I feel being an instructional leader is more important. Instructional leaders can guide a whole school's curriculum, inspire new and veteran teachers to greater professional success, and focus culture and climate on being student-centered.
